很多人都搞不清 relation 和 relationship 的分別，值得在這裏說明一下。兩個字的意思其實一模一樣，都解作「關係」，所以兩者的分別，其實在於用法。
 

◎ relevant 相關的, 切題的
◆ to be relevant to sth 與…相關  
    adj. having a bearing on or connection with the subject at issue
◆ These languages are relevant to the job.
    這些語言都和這份工作相關
◆ I’m sorry, I don’t think you have enough relevant experience for this job.
    非常抱歉，我不認為你有足夠的相關工作經驗來做這份工作。
◆ I think my experience talking to customers in a call center is relevant.
   我覺得我在遠程客服中心所積累的工作經驗與我現在申請的這份工作是相關的，是有幫助的。
◎ related 通常指（親戚關係）“兩件事物是有關聯的，有關係的 two things are connected”
