        We may not feel the earth change, but it does. Volcanoes help the earth change. A volcano is an opening in the earth. Seeing a volcano erupt is both cool and scary. When a volcano erupts, you see smoke go high into the sky. You may also see lava move across the land. Lava is red and orange, and it's very hot! Lava burns everything in its path. Volcanoes aren't just on land. They are also on the ocean floor and under ice.
