加強實用句型 That's not a nice way to expressyour opinion. 這樣表達不禮貌。

It can be a challenge to express different opinions.
You don't want to offend anyone or upset them.
To disagree with someone's opinion, you can start by saying:
I respect your opinion, but ...
I'm afraid I disagree.
I'm sorry, but I don't agree.
I'm afraid I don't see it that way.
Then you can express your opinion.
You may not change anyone's mind.
But it is good to share different ideas and opinions.
After that, you can say, "Let's just agree to disagree."
Then change the subject.

表達不同的意見會是相當困難的事,
你不想冒犯別人或者惹惱他們。
你如果不同意別人的意見,可以這樣子起頭說:
我尊重你的意見,但是··
我恐怕無法同意。
對不起,可是我不同意。
我恐怕不這麼認為。
然後你就可以表達你的意見。
你也許無法改變任何人的想法,
但分享不同的想法和意見是好事。
說完之後,你可以說:
「我們互相同意接納彼此意見不同吧。」然後改變话題。

Conversation A (in the office)
Greg: You're eating breakfast in the office again, Tina?
Tina: Yes. Is there something wrong with that?
Greg: Well, you're dropping food all over your desk.
Tina: Sorry. Getting up early is a challenge for me, so I have breakfast here.
Greg: But it looks like a pig lives here.
Tina: Greg! That's not a nice way to express your opinion.
Greg: Sorry. I guess I upset you.

會話A (在辦公室)
葛瑞格:蒂娜, 妳又在辦公室吃早餐了?
蒂娜: 是啊, 這樣有什麼問題嗎?
葛瑞格:這個嘛, 妳把食物掉得滿桌都是。
蒂娜:對不起。早起對我來說很難,所以我都到這裡吃早餐。
葛瑞格:可是這裡看起來就像豬窩一樣。
蒂娜:葛瑞格!這樣表達意見不禮貌喔。
葛瑞格:對不起,我想我惹惱了妳。

● That's not a nice way to say hello.
● That's not a nice way to to your parents.

Conversation B
Tina: Yes! I'm not a pig.
Greg: I didn't mean to offend you, but your desk isn't clean.
Tina: But it's my desk.
Greg: I'm afraid I disagree. We all share this office.
Tina: My desk shouldn't bother anyone as long as I clean it up.
Greg: But you might forget.
Tina: I never forget.
Greg: I'm not going to change your mind about eating at your desk, am I?
Tina: Nope.

會話B
蒂娜:沒錯! 我又不是豬。
葛瑞格:我不是故意要冒犯妳,但是妳的桌子不乾淨。
蒂娜:可是這是我的桌子。
葛瑞格:我恐怕沒辦法同意, 我們全都共用這間辦公室。
蒂娜:只要我把我的桌子清乾淨,應該就不會對任何人造成困擾。
葛瑞格:可是妳說不定會忘記。
蒂娜:我從來不會忘記。
葛瑞格:對於在位子上吃東西這件事情,我沒辦法改變妳的想法,對不對?
蒂娜:沒錯。
