Fans of K-pop are making their voices heard
Many people think that listening to music is a hobby that has little effect on the rest of life. But for some the hobby connects them with others who want to change the world. Fans of Korean pop music often find creative ways to enjoy following their bands. They also are organized. Many K-pop bands have fan clubs around the world, often with creative names. For example, the fan club for BTS calls itself ARMY, and the one for Big Bang is called V.I.P.
許多人認為聽音樂只是一種嗜好,對於生活中其他層面鮮少有影響。不過, 對於某些人來說, 這種嗜好却能將自己與其他希望改變世界的人連結起來。韓國流行音樂樂迷便常能找出千奇百怪的創意點子, 恣意享受追逐所愛樂團的樂趣。此外, 他們還非常有組織紀律; 許多韓流樂在世界各地都擁有粉絲俱樂部, 而且通常都有個極富創意的名稱。舉例來說, BTS防彈少年團的粉絲俱樂部稱自己為ARMY, 而Big Bang的粉絲叫做V.I.P。

K-pop stars work hard to connect with their fans by meeting them in person or online. They also express their love for fans who support and encourage them. Fans of K-pop use imaginative ways to express their love for the bands. They create websites, design products and think up "fan chants". Fan chants are phrases that the audience shouts out during concerts. They usually include words to the song the band is singing and/or band members' names.
韓流明星努力透過實體或線上見面會與粉絲互動聯繋感情。他們也會對支持鼓勵自己的粉絲表現出寵愛之情。韓流樂迷運用獨創方式表達自己對於喜愛樂團的熱愛。他們會架設網站、設計商品, 還會發想「應援口號」。這些應援口號是歌迷觀眾在演唱會時所喊的句子; 通常包含樂團正在演唱的歌曲歌詞, 以及或者是樂團團員的姓名。

Usage Tip/
Many people think that listening to music is a hobby that has little effect on the rest of life.
本句兩個 that分別具有不同作用：第一個that 用於引導從句, 此處為名詞子句作為動詞 think 的受詞, 因此可以省略;
第二個that為關係代名詞, 引導形容詞子句形容修飾前置詞 hobby, 由於此處的 that 為主格用法, 因此不能省略。
