Dialogue B Q: Quinton M: Marsha

One week later, Quinton and Marsha are talking in the hallway
 

Q: This is your last week in the office, isn't it? How do you feel?

M: Honestly, I'm really excited, but also a little nervous.

Q: Do you have a set date for your new business to open?

M: We just signed a contract on a space for the shop. Hopefully, we can finish preparations in the next few weeks and open the business at the end of April.

Q: That's great to hear. I can't wait to come buy some drinks.

M: Definitely. You should bring some of your friends as well.

Q: Do you think you can give your old coworker a discount?

M: You're funny. But the answer is "no."

Q: Come on, I was only joking. I want to pay full price to support your business.

M: That's very kind of you. In that case, you should treat everyone here in the office to a drink sometime.

Q: Maybe I will. Oh yeah, where is your tea stand going to be located?

M: Oh, it will be close to the main entrance of the East River Night Market, near the MRT station.

Q: That's not too far from my neighborhood? I'll definitely be a regular customer.

M: That's great. I'll message you once we're open. I look forward to; seeing you.

一個星期後,昆汀和瑪莎在走廊上聊天。

瑪莎:噢,它會在東河夜市的正門口附近,靠近捷運站。

昆汀:那離我住的社區不遠!我一定會成為常客的。

  come / go + 原形動詞  

come、go以原形動詞出現時,後面可接不定詞詞組(to+原形動詞) 或接and,再另一個原形動詞,
但或予以省略,而形成「come/go+原形動詞」的用法。
