Job-Hopper

職場裡有人被挖角(head-hunted),當然就會有人跳槽(hop from 1 job to another job)。

Vincent:So you’re looking for a new job again?

Vincent:

Oliver:Well, you know my motto, job-hopping is the key to better salary and position.

Vincent:You may be right but I still don’t feel that changing jobs too often is a good thing.

Vincent:

Oliver:What made you say that?

Oliver:

Vincent:I’ve been working in the HR sector for quite long. I think nowadays many employers find a resume full of short stints a turn-off.

Oliver:Well, I have to admit that each time during an interview, I come across questions as why I’ve changed so many jobs within a short period of time.

Vincent:Exactly, employers will have doubt if you can’t get along with your colleagues or worse, they may even question your capability to cope with work pressure and load.

Oliver:So you’re suggesting I should stay on this job longer?

Oliver:

Vincent:I think you should. It’ll build you more credits and give your CV more weight in the future.
